- Food
It is advisable not to drink any alcohol 48 hours before surgery as this may increase the risk of bleeding.
- General Anesthesia
- Do not eat for at least 8 hours before the surgery. You may drink plain water
- Please take all of your regular medication on the day of the surgery (unless instructed otherwise by our doctors)
- Local Anesthesia
- You may eat and drink before the surgery
- Shaving
We may shave off some of the hair in the pubic area if it interferes with surgery. You may want to shave yourself at home before surgery.
